Thanks fellas, I worked hard on her. Hated to see her go but oh well. I have a pic of her after she was wrecked that I will have to post later. It took out the entire front end and caved the firewall in on the sides. Doors will go on the new project. That isnt the new one behind it, that is the PHYSCO ex gfs truck. It was my first day driving it in two months because I let the crazy bitch drive it and she lives 40 mins from me. Funny thing is Im not a fan of red either. It just happened to be red from the factory so I went with the same stock red and HOK Orion Silver on top. Im not much into graphics on my own stuff so the only thing that was airbrushed was the air tank and a piece on the dash. The wheels will go on the 87 I picked up for free a couple days later. The new truck was missing a motor, carpet, had a 50 lb bag of dog food spilled in the interior, has "snow belted" mud tires, and the bed was LOADED with junk. Ive already sprayed the engine bay black, cut the fenderwells and the frame up front for the bags, swapped the motor in although it isnt running yet. Had to change the steering coloums but luckily the new truck has a power steering pump...thank God. I will bag it using everything from the old truck, reshave the fenders, gas door on the new bed, and cut the rollpan out of the old bed and install in the new bed. Im going to use the new bed simply because I want to do something different with the inside of the bed than use a bedcover like I did on the truck in the pics. Although I didnt buy the bedcover, I made it. I'll probably go with a flat black and flat red two tone on the new truck....maybe clear it later on to be nice and shiny. Those mirrors are just chopper mirrors and will go on the new truck, along with the rearview mirror. Im in the process of slicking the dash from the old truck right now to swap into the new one. It will be two toned like the truck and have a few things airbrushed and pinstriped on it. Im gonna use the stock bench seat and recover it two toned. Ive already cut off every single damn bracket for the old 4 link and front bags and will reuse them all on the new truck. Ive busted my ass tearing down the old truck the last couple of weeks and now its time to start on the new one. I cut the frame on the old truck off right in front of the cab and right behind the cab just to make it easier to work on so the truck you see in the pics is flat out gone. Will have something new in about two months to show though. I'll post more pics of the old truck and a pic of the new one later.
