You'd have to go look at it and hear it run. I'd say yeah just by the info they give, but you don't know till you see it. Check it's running condition, check for rust in the body and frame, and decide what you'd be replacing anyway, (like the front rusted out bumper with a new chrome one), and what you'd "have to" replace just to make the truck drivable.

If I could find one that was drivable, even needing a clutch, for $500 lol I'd jump on it!

Offer them 350- IF they don't take that go up 50$ but no more then 400$ for it - if the clutch is still driveable then say screw you im takin it like it is - Park it - and do what you need to it - a new clutch is 180 or something like that - if its the clutch slave cylinder (mounts to side of motor ) you can get them for 26.99 at the parts store.. But you may want to hurry on it esp if there's alot of interest in the area. cheap good trucks get snaggedup fast.

i would go for it but be careful with lowballing them, it may work or they may tell you to go fuck yourself then your out on a good deal, try to go lower than asking price, almost everyone goes hi on price expecting to negotiate a little bit, if they are willing to do the clutch for free i would do it, as long as its not some yahoo who doesnt know what they are doing, but def go check it out first, then if it seems a good deal give them a small deposit so they can do the clutch and shit like that, but make sure you have a witness or get them to sign something that you gave them a deposit first

good luck
