Well I finally have a bunch of pics of my truck,but I only have 1 uploaded at the moment. It's been off the road for the last 3 weeks getting the engine rebuilt,because I had bad oil rings and valve seals ad the thing smoked like a motherF... I had it rebuilt,bored .75 over,all new internals,head shaved,ported and polished,new rad,new clutch,new battery and the whole thing ran me like $2300 (cdn). The truck only has 80k mi on the body. It's clean for a Canadian salt belt truck. Once I get the motor paid off in 2 weeks,I'm saving up to have it repainted by the end of the summer,and somewhere bewteen paying off the engine and painting the truck I'll be doing a 3 or 4" drop on it.
Right now I don't have much done to it because I only bought it at the end of March and it's been off the road for 3 weeks! I've just tinted the windows,put a soft tonneau on it and got new tires. Yesterday I painted the grille and front bumper,and resprayed the rims today. It'll have to do for now until I get it resprayed,but whatever. New motor,so it's all good. I'll get some more pics up later. I've also just got a Sony head unit, 4" Pioneer components in the dash and a pair of 3-way Pioneer 6x9s in seperate boxes behind the bench. It sounds really good.

look closer at the door and you'll notice several spraypainted spots. It hurts me every time I look at it.

Here's basically what I want it to look like. Stock wheels,dropped,clear corners,roll pan. Clean and simple. I also want to get rid of the elephant ear mirrors,andmaybe get some silver flames in the tint or something.

Yeah,maybe I'll do that after I put the chrome altezzas on,spinner hubcaps,Type R floor mats, APC decals,fart can, yellow Type R emblems and a grandfather clock sized tach on my dash.

just a few more shots. Can't wait till I actually start getting some real work done on it.
I hate the interior in this truck. I hate the burgundy,the bench seat is crap, the dash is faded,there's no tach,the rearview mirror doesn't have the night time dimmer or whatever and there's no storage space whatsoever! I plan to be totally redoing the interior,swapping everything over to grey to begin with. I'll then be installing my '87 Celica GTS bucket seats, reupholster the headliner and door panels in grey suede to match the cloth/suede combo of the Celica seats,billet window cranks and grab handles etc, small steering column mounted tach, custom console with cupholders built in and a little storage cubby,and maybe make some door pockets as well. All in good time though....

YUP - The red/burgundy interiors are not very flattering. same as in my silver reg.cab. I am also in the midst of a grey interior swap.
