some progress on the bed

well since im home between semesters, i decided to start on the bed. i've worked about 6hrs on it so far. not much for being here 1 week already.

this is when i really wished i had a chop saw, cause man that angle grinder gets old as hell cutting tubing.



at the moment, where there are no supports on the sides is where the trailer fenders are going. im going to buy those next week then i can do whatever i gotta do there. but the framing isnt completely done yet, more supports here and there and it should be ready for sheeting. and i still have to cut peices of the old bed out, then do some undercoating. o and fully weld it. i got lotta shit to do next week lol

Oh I also have a Mustang Bullet fuel door cover if you want to use that, it's what I had on my bed when I did it.

i was up there last night cause i had to go to a graduation party. i called u this morning but i figured you'd be sleeping so i went ahead and headed home because i wanted to be home by 12.

im gonna buy another sheet monday when the steel place opens.

this is how it sits now. gonna go out there and sand the sheetmetal and oil it or somethin, it's rustin quick cause of the rain. and it's humid

lookin good, i know what you mean about a chop saw....over the 4th i was using my cut off tool to cut my tubing......(note to self next tool i get...buy a chop saw haha)
