it looks like garbage

well last night i pulled the bed off of my truck to finish a few thing left undone. well the more i looked at my rear setup the more i was unhappy with it, its just not what i wanted, it rides damn good but just looks like garbage to me. so im thinking of just backhalfing the truck and remaking the whole setup. the pics are a little old so it doesnt show it completed like it is now but youll get the idea of what i mean.

what dont you like about it?

it just doesnt flow well with itself, just looks thrown together, plus i never built the cups for the rear bags , ive still got the square tubing for a mount, i guess if i fixed that and put somemore gussets and stuff in there itd look a little better.

i dont like the notch.

i might just hack it all off, ive got an irs setup out of one of our rx-7s ive been thinking of puting in there instead. i did one on my buddys s-10, i think it came out of a z-300, im not sure though, but it looked sick as hell

Looks nice and solid. I see what you mean but its up to you man... if you have the spare cash go for it! Plan NICE and LONG until you are sure... Use it for a few weeks even maybe it will grow on you?

Are you having much issue with pinion?
I think its fixable for sure.
IRS is the best, I have to agree, an RX-7 IRS was used on the green RX-7 in the MT goes worldwide a few months back it was a japanese article. It looked awsome!
probably geared a lot higher too, better on the highway i bet.

nah the pinnion is decent, it goes as far as about 4 degrees which is a little more than it should but i just need to adjust it a little.
