Just put my new wheels on the front today and am unsure of what I think of them. They are factory Chev's with 225/45/16 firestones. I had to grind down the wheel centering tabs to get them to fit. I got half way through the left rear and my grind disc was done so I only got the 2 on. To fit the center cap you need to run GM midsize lugs with the outside thread on them (eg. sunfire, grand am) and I still haven't bought them. Just seeing what you thought of them.

And how many of you have shaved off the centering tabs? Are they safe and has anyone had any problems? Thanks.

i think those tabs are meant to keep the wheel centered on the rotors big guy.

i ground the tabs off my d50 to put my z71s on and the tabs are no biggy to worry about....most aftermarket rims are not hub centric so those tabs would never touch on a aftermarket rim....long as the lugs are seated properly and are tight there are no worrys

tabs will keep ur stock mazda wheels centered, other than that any other rim you put on is not the same size so it wont really matter if the hubs are there to center them.
so unless u dont plan on putting mazda rims back on it its really not a big deal.
just be careful when u put ur lugs on, make sure u center ur rim.
