picked up my tailgate and bench today

i got the tailgate for 50 bucks and he gave me the seat for free, thank god. it is bad off but i planned on getting a seat and installing all new cushions and a reupholstery job anyway. the tailgate has 1 fairly nice size dent next to the M and is a little wavy but it will all turn out fine. i will post up more pics when i get everything fixed up and my rear done.

kool beans, i know you've been after a stamped gate for a min.....seat looks like it has been reupolstered once already.....i don't recall seeing an interor from the fact like that....suggestion on the seat....you can get some new foam from a arts & crafts store to re cover the seat with...i got two diffrent types, one high density for under the butt (it don't wear out so fast), & one with a little higher density so i could make some "bolsters" to keep me planted & make the seat look as if it were two connected bucket seats instead of a bench....just a thought...

^^^ cool man i will have to look into that. the truck was red with red interior so i am sure that the seat was reupolsered once before. i will probably go with the same design, but with black cloth and cadillac embroyderies(spelling) on top.

Hey man i should have some newer pics of the rear end of my truck up tonight or tomarrow, mine also has the mazda logo in it and is all welded shut with the tag a little behind the a in the mazda...

hey man i have been meaning to ask you...did you buy that hood or build it? if you bought it where did you get it from. i like it.

i built the hood but bought the scoop for the carisle spring swap meet a couple years back...
