well little update ive been slacking but i finally got the motor out now i have to scrub out the engine bay tape all that crap off thats in there and spray it black im slow i know ill take a few pics of the engine bay and the motors side by side in the garage hopefully i get the motor in tomm. i want to clean up the tranny and engine and spay them either grey or the ford blue so i know what im doin tomm first and foremost...

well it took a while but as i write this the motor is in the truck not completely but close i have to try and get ahold of baggedb22 and see if i can get him to fab the motor mounts since i sold my welder well my wife has the camera with her when she gets home ill take some pics and hopefully post them tonight

well heres the pics of the motor just sitting in the truck

i still need to weld the motor mounts... going solid !!! rides gonna suck but all the power will go to the ground... kinda simple how im making them..... just need to buy a new welder again since i sold my last one in these pics you can see the mounts are not welded and the new throttle cable is WAY to long well hers the pics

good job so far, you should def. clean that motor up, and how much power you think your gonna be able to get outta that setup? lookin good man good progress

yeah i was gonna paint the block black but i think it may be to much black now i think im just going with the factory for grey... as for power im unsure my buddy is supposed to be tradign me a garret gt 13 for a mustang i have in my garage so with that turbo and a front mount, bigger injectors, and a mass air conversion i hope to be just over 300 the turbo support 500+ and the engine its self can handle 25 psi with out batting an eye so im not real sure.. it should be quick though

i had that same kind of engine out of a t-bird turbo coupe in a '90 ranger with solid mounts no ac and no power steering but the truck was faster than a stock 302 w/ an ok driver so with those upgrades it should be stinky fast.

well a few of you may have already noticed but i changed up my name to go with my truck a little better now... just wanted to inform you guys ive changed!!!!!

looks like a good project man, im also workin on a turbo project i put a 89 mx-6 gt f2t in my 92 b2200 with a garret t3, it has some other go fast goodies pretty much all i have left to do is the front mount, and fords edis-4 dizzy less ignition system with, and megasquirt standalone... I was workin on it like crazy now im slacking, b/c i've been workin on the v8 truck and my stang...
