FYI - If you have a spring shop in your area one other option would involve de-arching the leaf springs. The original setup on my current show truck utilized 4" blocks and all leafs pulled except... Problem was there was a lot of axel wrap from acceleration/braking. Best solution was to de-arch main leaf and original 2nd leaf, then put blocks UNDER the leafs with the axel right on top of the leafs. Did not need shorter shock, rode pretty good, fixed axel wrap situation.
