the first layer of fiberglass is all sanded down im hopeing to have the dash smoothed and in primer by the weekend i'll have pics of it all in and the final fitment of everything in primer...

sorry for the hold up gues everythings fitted fiberglassed and getting filler layed on it now, i have some progress pics though and the new carpet and switches came this week. still waiting on seats though...

what kind of cutting was involved for the dash to semi fit before glassing? Has anyone tried like an explorer dash or something similar?

well the dash would fit dencent but it was alittle to wide so the doors would squeeze it when u shut them and it didn't match the winshielf 100% if u check out the one pic above the cut the part that runs agianst the winshield off a spare stock mazda dash and glassed it into the mustang dash to make a prefect fit.

P.S. im not sure what happend to the pic of the carpet buts its clean and i like it alot, it looks like theres something all over it in the pic...

u can see where the airbag blew out is finally fiberglassed and smooth, also i had to make a little cupy hole where the ignition goes back in so i can get my key in,lol



sides of the dash had to be cut down and notched so the inside door handles could open...
