ok im 21 and ive had 3 diff mazda's throughout my driving history and ill never hopefully be without one i love them ive been slowly working on my 89 but because of having to figure it out on my own and cash flow things are slow. In a few months however ill be ready to drop around $2000.00 or so in it, my motor has 179000 on it but doesnt smoke, never given any prob. ive never had bags but not shure how costly it will be cause im no welder it all boils down to motor swap, bags, or paint job and body mods. whatever I can afford so please if anyone with experience has a clue to what i should do your input would be much appreciated Thanx.

I would defenatly wait on the paint until your DONE with everything. You will always add things later or change things up. Body mods (depending what your looking for) can be done rather cheap as long as u don't go to the Bend Over Shop of the Month. Depending what motor swap your wanting to do.. if your going for the street/sport truck look would be your best bet in my oppionion. However a frehly tuned factory motor is going to give you less headaches in the future. Bags is a big leap. And yes.. many people on the forum drive bagged daily trucks with no problems, but you can/will experience problems at one time or another so be carefull. If you don't have a little extra $$ to throw down to replace blown bags, extra air line, or frozen valves I would sudgest staying away from air ride until your financially stable enough to do so. But I was young once, and was balls to the wall. Its your truck, your $$ do what makes you happy.

That truck is nice. What kind of rims are those, are they 6 lug?

I'd say bags, but thats just because I love a bagged truck. I'm in the process of trying to determin weather I want bags on mine or not also. Good luck
