HOW F'D UP IS THIS...

i went to take my truck for a test drive last night because i was having some issues. so i went to turn around and she kept dying on me. so i pulled into a shell station and parked it and called the wife to come pick me up. she cam and got me and i loaded up the trailer to go get my truck. i get to the gas station and get the trailer ready. i go to back up the 83 and all the sudden my right rear drops, i was like wtf! i tried raising it up and nothing so i throw it in N and get out and oh shit! i was pissed! i didn't get home until 12 last night. so today i called up the store manager and told him what happened. he gave me a number to call and they are supposed to be figuring something out.

the manhole cover hit the side of my truck, denting it, scrathing the paint, and bending the lower 4 link bar (cause it was sitting on the bar not the frame ) i was extremely pissed due to the fact that they are supposed to be locked.

Yea really, those things are deep....Hopefully the truck gets fixed nice nice, try and get some better pictures later. (when its fixed) or of the damaged and then when its fixed, either or.


P.S. Sorry to hear the bad news

well, i am not really looking at getting any money out of them. it bent the 4 link bar a little, i can probably drive on it just fine, and it just put a small dent on the bed and took off some paint. it just really made me mad that i will never get back the 2 hrs of wasted time and irritation from last night. not to mention how exhausted i was at work today.

I'd make them feel like crap, if I were you! I hate being deprived of my time because of someone elses mistake!

fuck, id take it into a shop and get an estimate on the body, and the link bar, dont let the station get away with it, gas stations have insurance for shit like this

yeah, i can't stand gas companies! there should really be a law against these prices going up like this. i know they have the money to fix my truck, i will just see what happens. it isn't anything major just sucks that it all went down. luckily no one got hurt or anything.

take back that money from those high gas prices...hehe. sorry to hear about it, but i coulda been worse, a lot worse..
