Cool... I Love that grille.... The hood seems to straight edge, it seems like it should be more flared, just to flow better, just my opinion tho, it doesnt look bad tho.

Like this, maybe slightly higher, but it would flow real nice....

our goal is to rid of the cowl and make it stock hood. neither of us like the cowl, we are figuring it out on how to get the stock hood to work, ita atraight edge cuz we he made it, out of 2 s10 hoods

dude dont you say this in like at least 1-2 posts every day lol, your definatly behind a firewall of some sort.

What i'd do is get another S10 hood and Cut it out about 4" wider than what you want the Cowl to be, and put a nice bent on it from the front end till it makes it to the windshield, and then make a nice bent from side to side, and flare out the sides nice and smooth... Cut that old cowl off, and then tack this one into place, i've got a wicked idea, its just hard to explain, it would flow nicely with the hood, and keep the S10 hood lines, and center ridge as well... and i know it would work perfect too, I can draw something up if you want...

would be tight, but neither of us like the cowl idea lol and were going to make it a stock hood, just gonna be a lot of work because of the 4.3l v6 under that bad boy!! it sits rather high, lol, anyway yea looks like i should take this over to the project threads and start my own thread on this truck lol, naw ill keep it here, thanks for th info on the hood!!!
