center console pics/ideas?

since ive painted my dash i have really been wanting to build a center console for the b22. i plan to move the radio to the lil shelf below the a/c controls (prob today) then i could remove the old radio thing and when i build the console, build it right up to the bottom of the a/c bezel. kinda like how Baggedb22 did it except using the stock dash and all.

has anyone done this or something similiar? please post up any pics. i just want to get some ideas.

iv got a fiber glassed one that i fabriced over whch looks decent then iv got a chevy k-10 blazer that has been cut down and everything to fit mazda then i sprayed some undercoating on it...ill post up later. -bf

yes. exactly. i love the way it meets up with the dash. thats exactly how i want to do that. im hoping with mine to put 2 cut holders and a storage compartment. looks awesome badchicn. thanks for the post.

i really like that console, soon as i get mine from v8 i think im goin to do a lil glass work to it, and hope it comes out nice lol. i will get pics of course when i end up doing it, good luck with whatever decision you do

well mine doesnt go all the way....but iv got my cb to fill that hole! -bf

NICE. if i had the time/talent/money/and right materials i would love to make something like that. but, im starting small. im nothing new to fiberglassing, but the things ive done are FAR FAR from perfect. someday ill give it a shot.
