So Much For A Happy Halloween!!!!!

So I was out with my budies trick or treating and we were out for about and hour or so and then we start to head back to my truck and we are almost to the truck...like within 30ft or so and I see this guy in his car back straight into my truck, it wasnt like just a little hit it was like BOOM!!! He bowed the bed out on the drivers side out a whole bunch and a fat dent in the corner...AND THEN WHAT DOES HE DO?!?!?!?...HE TAKES OFF!!!! I jump in my truck and try to chase him down but by the time i got going he was gone...but i do have whitnesses who watched the whole thing go down...I also got the make year and lic. plate number. So to wrap thing up this guy is dead and have a happy halloween!

yeah i did that as soon as i got home and now i got to sit up and wait for em to show up and they said that they are swammped right now and my case is pretty low on their piority level.

Yeah well as luck would have it the lic. plate number that we got dosnt match the description of the car that i saw so im kina at a stand still right now...dont know what to do

Had a hit'n'run a few years ago with the same problem. Turns out the plate had been stolen from some guy's car and was being used illegally on the car that hit me.

I ended up making a police report and paying the deductible to get the car repaired.

For weeks after I kept my eyes out for the car that hit me but to no avail.
