$500 is an amazing price for a straight truck with all the chrome. Good find.

lol that chrome bumper is chrome spraypaint,haha. I have a chrome grille for it though,I have like 5 grilles including a 4x4 grille. The entire truck is rattle canned with red spraypaint but it looks really good!

I found it on Autotrader like a week ago and then mazdawgydawg told me about it and we were going to go halfs on it and I would use the bed and doors for my other truck,and he'd part out the rest of the truck. The truck was too clean to tear down,so,he lent me $60 and we bought the truck for $500,and I told him I'll pay him his $60 back and I own the truck outright.

I'm supposed to be going to pick it up tomorrow with v8mazda as long as our trailer is available from the rental place,since I reserved it lastnight.

I don;t know what I'm going to do with it oer the winter...probably just let it sit in storage,then as it warms up in the late winter,start fixing it up a bit. I'll probably get the motor rebuilt too,since the head's gone. Not many 26i's around,so I think that'll be cool to pop the hood and have people see a 2wd 2.6. lol

when we were there i KNEW that bed looked familiar, well i talked to josh last night and that bed came off the 93 i had back in 04/05 lol and crash, it was actually just around the corner from you in baden, i was wondering why niether you or josh had picked it up.

i looked at that truck too, but the floors arent that good and the head is most likely cracked,

if DJ still had the 4x4 i sold him u couldve used that head it was still good the motor only had a knock,

yea i just dident think anyone would need a head a year after i got rid of it so i dident keep it but im sure theres another one somewhere, the guy said its just the wheel wells that are bad like the ones in the firewall it shouldent be much different then tubbing the firewall so it shouldent be to much work, worse comes to worse it needs a rebuild, new head, or a new motor

Well the truck was $500 and the body alone is worth the $500. I'm going to have the engine fully rebuilt like I had with my 2.2,and that'll cost me around $1200 to get done. It has 240k km on it anyways,so it'll be nice to have a fresh motor.

As for the floors,yeah,they are rotten,but it's repairable with trailer fenders and patches. It's a project,not a daily driver.

I'm going to pick it up in the morning,so I'll snap pics of it when I get it home.
