i'm wanting to do a long skinny exhaust tip coming out the side of my mazda before the wheel and was wondering if companies make those. the longer and skinnier the better. and what i would need to go about doing this i don't think it should be too hard or if it's been done before, just cut a section out of the side of the bed the size of the tip and mount the tip in place.
your thoughts or problems i might run into?
know of any places on where i can find that size of tip?

If you were to mount it like the pictures above then it would be fairly simple.

If you mount it up higher where you have cut a complete shape out, lets say a circle, then you need to worry about the paint around that area as well as the heat from the tip. Unless you stick it out really far? But most setups like that are usually flush mount...

Just my two pennies!

You could do something simple and easy like mine. I had it come out between the frame and leaf spring mount.

For tips, just go to an exhaust shop and see what they have to offer. Magnaflow and Borla make some really nice stainless tips.

Stylin Concepts actually makes a tip that you use for a bed cut out. It looks pretty neat, you should look them up. I plan on going with something like that. Keep in mind if you bag the truck and it lays out, you run the risk of crushing the pipe. IMO, side tips are fly.
