the reason i havent been here

my buddy totalled his bug the other morning and i was at the hospital for about 3 days straight. he broke his femur bone in half and had to get a titanium rod drove into the bone with a 1lb hammer to piece it back together. he cant walk. it was foggy as hell and the curve snuck up on him and he went off a 12 ft embankment and hit a concrete slab in the side of the river where they had made the bridge.

wow that sucks. give your friend my best. although i do know how you feel. spent some time in the hospital with a friend of mine who just had colon cancer surgery, then the day after i left i had to go back to another hospital because my buddys (a different one) wife was downloading their baby, and to top it off i went to yet another hospital last weekend because my brother in law was burned very badly last friday. 3 different people, 3 different hospitals, and all in a weeks time. they get old real fast.

for those few of you in OK my brother in law is the state trooper that was burned helping firefighters evac homes because of a grass fire.

Damn man that sucks. Hope he gets better. Is this the bug that had the bagged front?

oh man....well no matter how badly mangled your buddy is,the best part is that he made it out alive. His life and your friendship is more important than any car.

You're a damn good friend to stay by his side. Wish him all the best for a full recovery.

sorry to hear bro but he will be fine I hope danm sledge hammer to bang a piece of steel in his bone that makes for some intesting talks at dinner. Like I said hope he is well and you are a true friend we need more people like that.

im at his place right now. no this one isnt bagged. the 68 is the one thats bagged in the front. its gettin a new engine right now. hes in alot of pain and im pretty much stayin at his place for a couple of weeks to help with everything because he cant walk or change his clothes or go to the bathroom on his own or anything so i need to be here to help him.

yeh well i had a friend in hospital on friday. was there for about 6 hours. and then saturday he wrecked and i had two friends on a bike go down and both went. and then on top of everything my brother ran a redlight today and t-boned a car. its been one hell of a weekend with no sleep at all. but thanks everyone for the best wishes and prayers.
