the 83 got TKO'd today...very sad day!

yeah, we went through the insurance company. i have a spare fender, and corner light, i just have to find a new bumper and bumper mounts. that is not so easy though. it took a while to find the mint bumper that i had on it already. beau and i have been talking though, and i am going tomorrow to pick up a chevy front bumper from the junkyard, something that looks like this...

I say ditch the front bumper and do a front rollpan or some sort of bumperette like on my Cadillac in the sig below...but dont use a bumper,just mount the bars like 6" either side of the front plate.

Thats a tough break dude. I hope you at least hit him in the jimmy! At least you already have a run down on the replacement parts. I would do the front roll pan too. That would be sick.

dude sorry to see that really sucks. I would have phoned derict to slam or who ever the bag is from and told them the bag was peeling back. I had a bag from air lift and they were great just sent me a bag no problem at all.the wire under the rubber looks really rusty for something that just happened.

Damn dude that sucks, sorry bout the truck! are you going to fix it yourself or have a shop do it and get all the parts or do you need us to keep an eye out for all those oh so hard to find parts for your truck!

thanks guys. the adjuster is comng out tomorrow morning. i am doing all the work myself. which really isn't much. i just need to find a new bumper. haven't been able to find one as mint as this one was. except for really nice trucks on ebay. i just got the new bag in today, thanks dev. it will be going on shortly so i can move it outside.
