No luck / some luck

Here's the deal I was gona go to my sisters house sunday and help them with some plumbing, and then we were gona go take pics of my truck. Here's where it gets interesting. I probably get a mile an a half from my house and I get this terrible vibration at 75mph, I think OH $h!1 I just cashed out the rearend. So I pull over and check the vitals on it (since I've had a slight vibration for the last 2 months), nothin just slack in the backlash(to much). So I limp it back home to find this goodness waiting for me, hopefuly it'll get fixed right this time since I had a driveline shop do the work in 2003.

it looks like the bushing has just come out. can you put a new one back in?

The crappy part of this whole thing is I've only got 620 miles in the past 2 months, although it did'nt beat the hell out of my exhauts, air tanks and bed so I lucked out there. Dropped90 it would'nt be possible to put the cap back in the opening in the second pic, it's beat out of round.

Got my driveline back Thursday, no problems no vibrations. Paid the guy $60(under the table) to replace the u-joint an tube end, not bad I guess. He said if I have anymore problems to get ahold of him. He also told me to check my pinion angle cause he thought that it was hitting it's self when it was intact, it dont.

yeah but you live in california. getting jacked is as common as seeing a tim hortons in canada. lol

wow, better have them fix it, or give you the money back and get someone else to fix it. good thing it didn't let loose. that'd be a real bad day.
