That sounds like a solid plan Jeffers. Get it running and enjoy it some. Plus it gives you time to check other things and fix those as well so by time to cut it, it'll be a solid truck. And since you were driving it, that will give you more motivation to get it back on the road to drive again. That's how I did mine.
