cute cat
truck is coming along nice
but i have a question about the rear suspension, why is the lowering block under the leaf spring and not on top and under the axle?
tucnrim   +1y
the guy had the blocks the other way and the tires rubbed on the fenders bad. so he put it like that. i measured it and there is 3 1/4inch of room between the fender and tire.. so it would have a 1/4inch of space if lowered.. once in the truck it might go down, would have to try it and see. other way is i can get 2inch blocks and should be fine on the rear coming down.. or find new rims that can tuck..

ok so i went out and remeasured.. and came to the conclusion that i need a 4x4 bed or new rims to get the back down...

i am selling the system, the amp, subs in the box and wiring, as i want to buy my bridge kit and rear bags. also am looking for ford probe rims so that i can drop my rear down..
tucnrim   +1y
should have my subs sold on friday and will be getting some parts ordered if so.

Basic Bridge Kit:
* Step notch kit (8pc)
* Axle brackets
* Upper bag brackets (1/4" thick)
* 2 Bridge bars that span from notch to notch
* Shock Tabs

then get 2 bags with shraders and the rear will be started. work on a link setup and tank, compressor soon after.

if i get my amp sold as well, i will have the notch kit and bags at once, and will only need to get it all welded up.. hope to be able to start on progress pics soon.

i notice the rear fender lip is not straight, maybe the rims dont tuck to great, not sure will find out more on that when i talk to him tonight again, but besides that it looks clean.. gonna try and get him to send pics of the rear setup later..

good luck man

talked to him and he wants to trade, he is tired of bagged vehicles and want something more stock. hope to be able to go down on sunday to get it. rear setup doesnt look to bad really, working on getting that uploaded. said the only thing wrong is a kind of squealing noise from a dust cover on a brake caliper,, said it was checked and in nothing of concern just makes a noise at certain ride heights. but everything else is great..

he asked if i could preregister it before coming so he didnt have to worry about it but since i have to when i get his i think he can do this one on his own.. lol i was right he flared the rear fenders out a bit so it would lay so that ok, will invest in 4x4 metal to fix it later down the road

So when do you pick it up man
tucnrim   +1y
got pics of the rear and let me say this the work looks good. the lower bag mounts not sure on them, but can be replaced for an easy fix. the link setup is like nothing i have seen before but he said it drives great, once again i can always change that later also.. so i think it would be a good start for a new project. todd if things go right and this person buys my subs like he is supposed to then i will be leaving tomorrow evening or early sun morning to go see it in person and pick it up.

thoughts and opinions on it....
