i wanna lower my front end. ive found drop spindles, but do i need lowering upper/lower control arms too?

You don't need drop spindles to lower these trucks. You can do it for free by loosening the bolt on the trosion bars. Make sure the front end is on jack stands before you do it though. Search "re-indexing torsion bars", you'll see how to do it there.

will/how bad, will that mess up the alignment? and i eventually plan on baggin it and want it to lay lower so i thought id need the spindles. and even if i dont use that method, do i still need the upper and lower control arms with the spindles

Re-indexing your torsion bars will get the front lower until you put it on air. I re-indexed mine and it didn't seem to affect my alignment, although you should have your alignment checked or redone after you re-index your torsion bars. As for the rest of your question, I don't think you need control arms for a dropped spindle. If I remember correctly you do need a wheel that is 16" or larger in order to clear the dropped spindle though. Hopefully someone can give you a definate answer on that.

No just the drop spindles. You can either lower it with the drop spindles or dropped lower control arms but not both.
