2WD Tuck

Since I got my Eskie rims I really want them to tuck, but I don't want 4x4 sheetmetal. I dont like how big the wheel openings are. I've seen a few guys say to roll the fenders with a baseball bat but I haven't seen a writeup about it. Can someone elaborate on the way you do this? Is that the only way to get your tires to tuck without 4x4 fenders and bed?
