Can you read

So I have noticed alot of new people on the site posting ads right away trying to sell stuff. I am going to ask this question once.

Are you new guys un able to read? At the top of the topic posts it tells you, you can not post for sale ads until you have 50 posts or become a supporter.

Maybe its me but it seems it has to come down to banning these people till they get the point.I know I am an ass but come on delete the post that they make and enforce the banning. Their are to many people thinking they can come on here and just post some crap they are selling and leave. I have been here awhile now and think of this site as a second home plus i think of most of the guys and gals on here as friends and I have had it with this kinda disrespect and that is what it is ....respect the site and go by the rules.

i used to be on here so i hope no one gets offened that i posted some valves i have had for like ever

sorry, been busy as s*** with school work and bad back aches. I agree, 50+ for sale posts. Become active, contribute, it's not hard to get to 50 legit.

I take it as disrespectful towards the community as well especially since it's in plain view. You may have seen most that do this when they first post will include an email or phone number so they don't have to come back. What we do now is we remove the entire post but leave it up so other can see that we enforce the rules.

What really gets me is when businesses do it. Related or not, they aren't any better than the bots that are programed to spam message boards.

Im not having problems with it at all, but hey... im not gonna sell anything from Denmark anyway LOL

you never know... you might find someone in denmark that wants something you have, or has something you want


on a side note 50 may sound like a lot, but it also isnt that much to ask for either... that or having a paid membership as Baha has pointed out will get you off the cant post for sale list, but even still we need to get a feel for people before we decide to buy... i dont see a problem with linking to a craigslist post... you dont necessarily have to say its your truck or parts for sale, you could just post up "hey look what i found"...

and with your intro 50 posts dont just post useless stuff... be an active participant on the forum. let us get to know you before you try to peddle your stuff...
