I'm Old Skool the body lines on the B are what makes it look good. I say leave it and put in a bigger engine if you want a project.

I'm a big fan of the body lines also but it would create a unique look. Here is a pic of my Ranger with the shaved upper body line if you want to get an idea of what it might look like even though the Mazda is different. It was a PITA, all done with metal.

Yeah I mean either way I tnk that the lower looks good done,w the uppers left, anyways.was its hard to do all that? Did u weld in piece or use that green resin

yeah i would leave the upper bodyline with lower shaved if anything...that i think is the best look, well unless you dont shave them at all.
welded, thats all i really believe in when it comes to bodywork of that nature.. mainly because of the bed flexing with the bags, draggin rollpan, hitting sides, etc

my door handles only had few tacks on them and used body panel adhesive by 3m.
i crimped it to give it a backer and solid mounting point.

if you have a good fit and material. the body work is easier, so just take your time. i practiced on other stuff i had around the house..

its not really hard at all....there was a lot of filler at one point, but i stripped it down and used my welder to fill in and get rid of bondo and shit, but that took a lot of wire, time , flap disk and other materials too

That would look pretty badass. I wouldn't mess with anything other than metal to fill it tho.

I say leave the lines alone. Just my .02

i for one have thought about shaveing the lower line as well, but if you look at your truck long ways you would need a lot of metal to fill it and make it look right as the body rolls in a little befor the line and the lower side of the line sets out more then the uper side of it, so to me the only way to make it look right would be to make a filler that fits all the way up to the half way point of the door and body so the roll would look right...but thats just me
