Hey guys any help is greatly appreciated. Have 3" blocks and a monoleaf set up. Prob dropped 5" or so. Now my rear ujoint is shot. Coincidence? Maybe. But I'd like to correct the pinion angle a bit for preventative measures. Should I go wedges and if so what angle degree? Thanks!

I think they only make two size wedges if im not mistaken. I would go with the smallest wedge, the angle shouldn't be off much. Im sure someone else will chime in and correct me if I was wrong.

Thanks for replying. I didn't see any posts regarding a static drop like mine and angled blocks or wedges. But maybe I missed something.

I've never actually had a problem with the pinion angle with the 3" blocks, go bigger than that and you need them.

I asked I believe on the other mazda site. Everyone said the same thing, not needed. I hope to go 4" on dual leafs with a pipe notch with no plan of using pitched blocks.

Thanks guys. I'll just chalk it up as coincidence. Replacing carrier bearing and universals while I have the driveshaft out. Now if I can figure out how to put some pics up I can show my trucks progress... Haha

i would say coincidence..altho it prob did put a little pressure in it ...it wouldnt be enough to make it go bad but if it was already going bad it would speed it up
