Ok, so Im looking at a 2600i 4X4 for $600 w/ blown head gasket. Ok the question, what all would have to be done besides the actual gasket swuch as head, ect....?
The B2600 and the B2600i had weak head designs. If these ever blew a head gasket there is a very good chance that you will need to replace the head as well. These things just love to crack between the valves or the exhaust valve and the spark plug hole.
Timing chain can be left alone aside from getting it off the cam, you don't need to take off the lower cover.
