Hey,
Im trying to troubleshoot my 91 B2200 EFI. Ive tried numerous sensors/distributors/coils/new plug wires/spark plugs/ new timing belt. Etc Etc.
I did change the Capacitors on my current ecm, however, I think the damage has already been done by the Acid from the cap. Maybe something going on there that I cant see. I have tried to pull the code by crounding the Green test connector in the engine bay, but the solid Check engine litght does nothing. It just stays lit.
The truck starts and idles but as you depress the pedal it revs up and at a certain point while depressing it starts bogging and shuts off. Lots of black smoke indicating a rich condition.
One more thing. I still need to recheck my belt timing marks to make double sure that theyr right on.
But an easier test would be to borrow an ECM. Can anyone else help? The truck is fn sweet and its a shame its just sitting in my garage.
