cause of fire : Gas vapor from hose ignited by dragging on the way out .he didn't know it til it was to late .



just putting it out there . do not rush to put your ride together for a show if it makes it it makes it if it dont it don't .. ITS not worth putting your life or anyone elses in danger ..

One of the many reasons I don't care for dragging. Hope he is ok. Did you read the other pages of that post? One post mentioned the town not allowing the show to return because of the underage drinking and drugs.

there was some people who want to rain on the show . Do you really think the town is gona turn away a oppertunity to make 20g's or more in a weekend ? esp a town that is small with not much going on in it? . A oppertunity for stores and resturants , gas stations , Beer stores to make alot more money that they don't make any other month? no .. don't think so . It also gets people in from out of town who would have never been there and have potential for return visiters who will come back and or tell someone else about some cool things to do in that town? um yea i don't really think they'll push out that car show .


There was no reports that i know (yet) of underage drinking , or drugs.. no matter where you go kids are gona drink and smoke pot and what ever drug they can get gethier hands on .. Is it the show promotors fault people are drinking and doing drugs? my understanding is the police presense was huge at that show .


i have a venue spot where i am - please bare with me i'm not trying to be racist but the "thugs" or blacks in this area have been kicked out of all venues around here cause of thier parties and thier habbits.. They throw parties with a dj in a venue and drink and smoke pot and what ever else they have on thier hands. These people got no respect for the venue what so ever - i have never seen a venue so messed up as this one after these parties. Carshow venues probably don't see as much "damage" as a indoor venue from these type parties. They throw thier cups , bottles, Gum on the floor , Get sick in the hall , leave trash and broken bottles all over the parking lot.THING Is these people WILL pay the fee for the venue to have thier parties cause they know that they will not be able to go anywhere else.

I talked to some freaks members and they said he pumped gas and overflowed it onto the truck. He forgot and railed it for a min and it was too late after that. It's not a question of something being halfassed put together, its an error in judgement. Let's not harp on his mistake and just hope that our fellow minitrucker makes a sleepy recovery.

it was my understanding he didn't have a gas vapor hose capped . but if that was the case - then would happen definetly - i wasn't harpnig on the kid by any means but i've seen lately people are hurrying to make a show and just slap thier trucks to gether half assed instead of taking thier time to be safe.

these things can happen to anyone, its not always the truck not being done right or the driver not doing things right, it can be any thing lets just hope he gets well fast...on a side note iv had my vaper line uncaped for a long time and never had a prob out of it but i m not saying thats a good thing just saying iv never had a prob.. but iv learned from this and will not do it that way again
