I HATE RUST!!!!

Well i just started tearing the truck down....preparing for a bd (was gonna do traditional).... (note i bought this thing about a year ago, and it has just sat since...besides me gutting the interior)...

Well taking the bed off, and getting ready to get the cab off....This is what i got to look at








So frustrating!!! So now im debating on scrapping it totally...Or taking on a sfbd. The maz has got me down

if you don't want to do a stock floor bd why not build a new frame ? and put the body on it?

Are the cracks below where the gap is between the bed and cab? That's the same problem mine has. You could always just back half it.

Well i was thinking about firewall back..... and yes it is in the same stinking spot

Im in the process of taking everything off the front right now... i want to see what the front frame clip looks like....but ive just got a bad feeling about it...

on a side note....

is there any difference between the front doghouse/frame area between a 4wd single cab and a 2wd ext. cab

my 4wd parts truck frame wise is in good shape

so it was a thought in case the front of the b2000 is killed as much as the back

is your 4x4 a single cab or ext? you could always stretch the frame and run the single cab bed. i would if i could do it again.

the 4wd is a single cab Hunter..... the 2wd is extended

the bed on the 4wd is pretty rough though (no rust issues..but quite a few dents...well a lot of dents..not big ones..it looks like its been turned over and hailed on..lol 4wd fenders are perfect though

2wd body is great shape...well insides of bed sucks...but the outer shell is good
