Headunit Help!

So I'm in the process of restoring my 89' B2200 and when I bought it the truck had the original headunit but it did not work at all. Checked the fuse, and the thing is almost falling apart. So I figured I would just replace it. Just so happens that I have a spare JVC double din HU laying around. I would love to put it in the stock location but I cant find anything online for a dash kit! Does anyone know where or how to install a double din into this truck? I dont want to hack up the whole dashm, so if i can't make it work I'll just maybe trade it in at a pawn shop or something. do you still have the sleeve for the headunit?.. if its a double din it will fit right in but the sleeve will be needed to hold it in

Everything is in its stock location still. So then what exactly would I need to do to make the double din work?

get the metal sleeve that gos to the double din fit it in and bend the tabs to hold it, get the wire harness and plug it together..not hard at all
