i have a really odd question. my truck has water in the back passenger side cavity. (cab plus, were the rear speaker is at) So im going to suck that out. my question is the rear cavities for the sides of the truck and the rear under the window.....are they all attached? What i mean is are they sealed from each other or can the water go from side to side?

the reason its filling with water is because water in entering either though the wiper cowl by the heater box or there is a hole in the floor behind the fender well and or behind the fender/ kick panel, easiest way to keep it from filling up is drilling a small hole on the bottom at the back of the rocker, it will drain, but you do need to repair the problem

that would make sense then because i just had the windshield replaced. so its traveling my WHOLE rocker panel? Sonofabitch

your getting water in your extended cab walls ? Thats because 2 things u need to look at ...

1) the window trim in your extended cab
2) the seals in and around the window area .. my old extended cab had the same problem . sounded like someone was splashing in a tub of water when i was driving around and stoping .. check your window trim if its loose around your extended cab windows . thats where i would start. your new windshield install has nothing to do with it unless your front carpets are wet from rain/ car washing ... Just lookin out.

thanks bagged! yeah ALL of my carpet is dry, and it sounds like someone is splashing around. I replaced the rear window also. used old gasket tho...............

you took out the back window? i find it odd that the side cavities are getting water tho . if anything you would have water on your floor in the back below the window .. cause theres no openings on the rear cab wall .. Your side window trim and seals are what you have to look at .

yeah ALL of my carpet is bone dry. thats why i was curious if it could of leaked down by the rear window and then into the sides.

I'm having this same problem in my standard cab lol. Sounds like I'm driving on the beach by the ocean haha

single cabs have a pocket in the sides as well .. Check your black trim pc its possible that water is getting in there as well 88mazdab2200 . i really don't think the rear window in yours is causing the same problem that
