Has anyone tried using air cylinders instead of bags? Or maybe air struts?

My buddy used air cylinders in the back of his Blazer. They're set up on a 2:1 ratio, one of the best riding rear setups I've experienced.

you have to have them cantilever, because just in place of the springs they suck. Once upon a time years ago my little bro had a ranger that was done with air cylinders. the front had big ones and used ranger Ibeam brackets, and the rear had them behind the axle. The front needed every bit of 150psi to lift the 2.0 and the rear rode like it was solid.
