You don't have to have a Mazda to be on here. There isn't a Nissan Scene but I did acquire the old Nissan Customs site I just don't have it online.

I wouldn't buy anything that's already bagged to use as your daily especially if I didn't have a welder or any experience with a bagged vehicle. Just looking out for you.

the guy is asking $5000 i got him down to $3000. thanks for the advise baha. what should i really look for before or IF i do buy it?

I know it's tempting because it's already done but I've never seen someone buy a vehicle that has already been bagged for daily use and not have problems. If it were me since it's been modified I would walk away because things can be hidden so easy.

If you are still going to look at it pay attention to where the body work has been done. Look at the seams where the tailgate would of been for cracks, especially inside the bed on the tailgate skin. Many people install those with out either protecting the metal from the other side, not welding a full seam, or making good welds.

Look for exposed wiring any where especially in the bed and the engine bay. That would be signs of amateur wiring because nearly all wiring has been insulated in wire loom from the factory.

Look for any rust on the welds, this could be sign of cracks because a full bead won't have holes for the moisture to get behind and rust from the back.

Again I would look for something that hasn't been tampered with.

Oh yeah if you look at it also take note if you smell fresh paint, that would definitely been a sign that something has been dressed up.

Nice truck.

I think its funny how all of the, "mini" trucks built in that era look very close to each other.
