Is this possible? Anyone not understanding what I mean? I mean there is a strip of trim, it goes from the front of the side windows, up the door down the back window and along the top of your doors. Its usually black or in my case chrome. The chrome is peeling off and I want to replace it. Does anyone know if its removable and where I could get a chrome replacement?

I have an 86 b2200 with the extended cab. cv

It actually just peels off.. start on the inside edge of the doorjamb then slowly work it off.. its hard to find mint ones used but they are available at the stealership for about $60 a side new

it just doesn't peel off, the piece around rear quarter window are bolted in, and the interior panels have to come off the access the the 10mm bolts and they are held in with clips at the bottom

cool, thanks a lot guys, I appreciate the information. Good thing that peeling off the interior starts in that exact place! I will fork the cash out for brand new ones. I want my truck to shine.

Guess I will call the dealership.

when you are moving them around or putting them on be very careful as it does not take much at all to kink them

Ok, so I called the local delaership, and according to them, they cant find the part for my 86 at their location or any other close canadian locations.

Does anyone know of a specific dealership they have already purchased these from? I will need to call a dealership in the states it looks like. Or further east?

I am in Victoria, B.C. and I called Pacific Mazda.

Oh.. my bad.. thought you were just talking about the driprail moulding, the quarter glass pieces are almost $300 a side through the dealer that I use in Connecticut..the clips at the end of the quarter glass trim almost always break too.. the trim and clips are available down here.. not sure about Canada..do you have access to a Chrome shop locally?... I'm having a pair done for my truck as we speak.. its actually cheaper to have them re chromed than replace them usually
