thats the truck, sounds like a nice truck and doesnt look to bad to start off with. trading my yota for it possibly. I need to go up and look at it next week so i can see more on the bag job it's self. what ya think of it??

Very hard to tell from the pics, but the rear setup looks like its not too good.

I would stay away just from seeing that rear bag job unless you can get an amazing deal on it and plan to redo everything anyway.

i know could be a hack job, hard to tell from the pics. the rear is notched so doing a new bridge and bag mounts would be a simple fix for the rear. i was in talks with the previous owner and he did some repairs to it from the owner before that.

cons on it are it has a crack across the windshield, easy fix there, tailgate is off as it wont stay shut, shouldn't be a hard fix and needs a $7 brake line in the rear replaced. thinking about going up and seeing it in person on monday, so what the welds and mounts look like and go from there.

I would be sketched out from the fact that he is wanting to trade a bagged mini truck for the sole purpose that he wants something different. A toyota mini truck is not different lol. The rear doesnt look very good at all. But ofcourse im always sketched about people wanting to trade something that is bagged for something that isnt without money involved, just a straight swap truck for truck. Also that the previous owner before him had to do repairs from the owner before him. Sounds like it has switched alot of hands. Who knows what the wiring looks like seeing it has a nissan motor swap in it. Its hard to tell without going to look at it in person. You are better off starting off with a clean slate instead of having to cut everything off and start over. Never know though. Could have been somebody that bit off more than they could chew with the project and it was just steps from being finished and they lost interest and then the last two owners had no idea about bags nor cared to learn. Go look at it and take lots of pics and post them up for us all to see and critique. Just please dont get all anxious to buy it just cuz it has switches and goes up and down.

this is the info from the last person which is a friend of who owns the truck now. the person got it in trade as he though bags would be cool and really isn't in to them like he though. cant haul stuff and things, so he was looking to get something else.

he got rid of it because he is going to have a baby so the project had to go to get a family vehicle. he reinforced the rear end and redid the c notch so it is sturdy. the person before him had mounts on the side of the notch and left sharp edges and kept popping bags, the reason for the bags where they are now.
some things he mentioned also were:
Newer motor 4 cylinder with new head
camber kit
new wheel bearings
carpet interior
Tvs in visors
C notch
Reinforced rear end c notch rewelded sturdy with control arms
Rear tires like new
Neon headlights
5 gal tank for faster fill
2 on board compressors
5 speed
New act clutch
Shaved doors with door popper
Clean title
Good tags

not sure what is meant by the c notch rewelded sturdy with control arms. but I will check it out thoroughly before any decision is made. even if i pick it up to redo it wouldnt be bad. also it is said it is body dropped also. he also tore all the wires out and redid them not to long ago so they are right.

never heard of a camber kit for a mazda either.

I mean any hacked up bag job you can fix. My main concern would be neon headlights? nissan engine? sturdy rear notch with control arms? Make sure and notice why the brake line needs to be replaced. Is the rear end bottoming out on the notch and mashing the hard line? Is it some crazyness where the upper link rotates and mashes the hardline because its run under it? lol it could be endless

exactly. waiting to go see it on Monday.. your right any job can be fixed, so i am not to worried about that. if the welds are crap then i will tell him i pass on it. guy said the gas gauge don't work and since it was swapped out with a suburban gas tank how could i fix that? the guy said today he doesn't know anything about working on vehicles, just thought it would be cool to have and realized a modified truck isn't really what he was wanting.. lol

on my last Mazda i had a burb tank, but the stock Mazda pump/sending unit was welded on to it so the gas gauge still worked, maybe i will have to do that on this one if i get it...
