What I was thinking of doing is to buy the fittings to the ac compressor, receiver dryer, evap core, and condenser.

Then buy some of the anodized aluminum tubing from Summit and then cut the fittings I bought and flare them to 45 deg. then flare the anodized tubing 45 deg and join them.

My propane gas line is joined at each junction this way, and I know that stuff is under high pressure.

My custom truck has the condenser behind the cab, so it would make sense to use the aluminum or copper tubing going to the rear and back.

Any reason why this won't work?

I would contact the experts at AMA auto refrigeration (ackits.com) and ask them. My opinion is that it would likely be OK, flare fittings have been used for refrigerants. Propane is generally NOT at high pressures, because its at equilibrium with the liquid propane.

To just connect tubing, here in the lab even for small flammable and explosive gases like hydrogen, we use SwageLok connectors. They seal real well, and are available in standard and metric diameters, and in various metals to match up with the tube metal.

Mike, that's what how I did my ac lines, but I used brass flare fittings...
Aluminum fittings should hold up just fine, as long as you can get them tight enough.
I don't know if using anodized tubing is a good idea, unless it's virgin aluminum on the inside of the tube.

Thanks guys.

Sin I was going to ask you about your setup as you were the one who gave me the idea to run the remote condenser.

That is the way I will make my hoses then.

Thanks again, Mike.
