hi everyone,

i'm having troubles trying to find a new or used replacement for this part.

the issue with the one i have is the contact leads are worn/corroded. no power to pump through wires leading into tank via black circular plastic seal on top of fuel sending unit plate.

does anybody know of a oufit that sells them new aside from dealerships?

fineline fuel systems in nova scotia, canada has a listing for the part #SU941 but says it is out of stock

Kevin - you can try cleaning and bending the contact arm on your sender. But I'd buy factory on this part, others have posted about bad experiences with the aftermarket made-in-China replacements available.

I have a how-to in the contributed projects section of the forum, and I just recently bought/installed a genuine Mazda factory sender I got from , a vendor here (it has worked great !!!). Dan will ask for your VIN number to make sure you get the correct one.

When I had ordered one of "those" replacements, it had "opens" when I measured continuity at the parts store, so I never physically bought that.

hey everyone. i must apologize for i have been apparently using the wrong terminology for this part. please excuse the confusion. the part i'm desperately looking for is called a fuel pump assembly. i have also heard people use the term fuel sending unit and also hanger. anyways, i have had correspondence with dan atkins rotary vendor out of washington state. standing by for a response here. hoping he or somebody here can come up with something. please message me here if you have any other ideas folks.

regards

i'm going to try and post some pictures of what i am specifically looking for. one is from fineline fuel systems in nova scotia part#SU941 (product on back order for 2-3 months) and the other is from a local dealership part#13-350 (way, way too ridiculously expensive).
