Thanks for the pics Mr C. I bet you had a ball at that event.

I know I always look forward to the Mustang show at the Atlanta speedway in Apr every year.

I will have me another someday! No car I love more.

I used to frequent shows quite a bit. Thanks for sharing Cuss.

One of my fondest memories in a Super Beetle was in a snow storm with my Dad when I was younger. We were coming up on a small rise in the road. Just over the rise was a pile of cars all over the road and in the ditches. Being surprised like the rest of the drivers my Dad took evasive action and drove the car straight into the front yard of someones house. HOLLY SHIT I cried!!! It turns out we drove straight over a big ditch full of snow and never missed a beat, my Dad had maneuvered the car over the ditch, into the yard and over into the drive way of this house. Just like he had parked it there. I don't know if his actions were skill or just luck but that bottom pan of our Super Beetle worked like a sled and we skied right over that ditch!!! :)

I've always wanted to get one but had no idea they were so popular - that many still alive!! I'll have to add it to the some-day list. LOL

Out here - in both Phoenix area and up north near Prescott - I'd say I see 20 for each 1986-1993 B-truck I see. I can go months without seeing another B-truck on the road or parked.

Yea, I'm in the wrong part of the country for a number of reasons. Add those to the list.

The pop out safari windows are sweet, I even liked the safari windshield on the regular vw bug car... And what is with that camper tent on the one near the end with the ladder, that's almost scary, not sure I would want to sleep up top like that. Cool pics for sure

My 69 bug...my first car btw...had pop outs in the rear, (not called safari's on bugs for some reason). It really help with air flow in the Florida heat back in the day.

I'm seriously wanting to do my a firberglass buggy right now. Gotta find one someone has started so I don't have to go through the process of cutting a pan.

Something like this...but better:
