How many holes are there for the "B2200" emblem on fenders?

I'm thinking of de-badging and de-chroming my truck. Most of it looks easy, except where the "B2200" fender emblems are. I definitely do not want to drive around with holes there. How many holes are there if I remove the emblems?

Also, how would I go about filling them in? I'd rather not get into too much bodywork, but I might if it's easy enough. Then I could "spot paint" it with a rattle can of primer and red paint. I know it's not the ideal way and it may look noticeable. But I have a lot of small scratches and chips (all over the truck) that I will probably sand, prime and spot paint. I just can't afford a full paint job. I may do a full paint job next year, but for now, just a quick fix will do.

Another option... what about ordering aftermarket fenders? Do they come with the holes already pre-made? If they don't, then it might be easier just to get new fenders. My left fender has two dents in it anyways. Paintless dent repair will probably cost about $200. But, the truck is from Florida, and is rust free, so might be worth saving my current fenders.

North of Toronto eh? How close are you to north bay? I can hook you up with a set of mint fenders...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought they were just glued on (i.e. no holes).

4 holes, and any "brand new" fender you buy will have these holes as well. welding is best but you could epoxy some metal on the backside and use some metal to metal filler. the cheapest way is to just fill with bondo but you run the risk of it eventually breaking loose from the hole(s) and you're left redoing it again

I'm in Barrie, so a couple of hours away. I might be interested in those fenders, especially the left fender since mine has several dents in it. It would really cool if your fenders are red so I wouldn't have to paint them. I think Lance (V8Mazda, who also lives in Barrie) said he had some fenders, which would be cool because he's local. But if he doesn't have them, then I might just have to make a trip to North Bay.

So I take it your fenders don't have any holes for the emblems then? Are they OEM or aftermarket fenders? You said they're mint, so no noticeable rust or anything? (that would be cool, since my truck is from Florida and rust free, nice to keep it that way). And it would be a bonus if they're red.

That's what I thought. I'm guessing my fenders are original OEM parts, but to be sure, I should pull the emblems off and see for sure.

So, did ALL fenders come with the holes, or did some aftermarket fenders not have the holes? Sometimes the fit of aftermarket fenders isn't so good. Might be better to fill in the holes on my existing (and rust free) fenders and maybe see if paintless dent removal can get the dents out. If I do end up filling in the holes, I'd get someone to weld them up. Like you said, it will hold up better than Bondo.

But if my fenders have holes and I can get a nice set of fenders without the holes, I'd go for it, especially if they're already the same color!

can't get around it...all fenders, even aftermarket, will have holes

If you wanna pull the emblems and just cover the holes you can get small carriage bolts that fit flush and paint the heads.. it'll blend in with no body work

I would have never thought of that! I wonder what the lowest profile carriage bolt is? Do you have any pics of this? I'm curious to see how well it would blend it.

I don't have pics but I've seen some wicked small carriage bolts..do you guys have a company called "Fastenal" in Canada?
