Have you tried removing the arms and re-installing them 1 or 2 splines to the right?

yes the adjustment is at the end of the arms, where they attach to the transmission/linkage at the cowl. they are 12mm nuts i think? under the plastic caps. loosen them, and i usually stuff a small allen key through the holes in the wiper arm after lifting it off of the windshield a bit, (you'll notice you cant put anything through the holes-straight through- until you lift the wiper), then wiggle it off, sometimes it needs a bit more persuasion, you can gently pry, but not against the windshield... it'll crack if you try to play to hard around it.

then reposition the arm down a bit more, (if it's trying to whack your drivers door)

1. Put a towel down on the windshield in case you drop something.

2. I'd leave the nut on a turn or two while I wiggle, so if wiggling the wiper arm off gets it loose, then you won't get a wiper in the face.

3. I've had to use a small gear puller or battery terminal puller to get these off, it makes the job easy.

4. I put grease/stick lubricant on the shafts before I reinstall, for the next time.

5. Be glad it's not a 1998-2004 Frontier; their shaft splines are way smaller, and their wiper arms weak metal (bad engineering "perfect storm"), that the arms tend to strip out and then don't move when the shafts move. Dealer-only, about $30. Happened to my daughter (1998) and a co-worker (2002), expect it will also happen on my 2004 some day.
