All-Orange front upper light lens - OEM or mod?

I saw a B2200 with all-orange front running light lenses and it looked good. This is the upper wrap around "running light" lenses (NOT the lower rectangular turn signal lenses). I saw them on this truck (see pic, might be an overseas or South American spec truck due to front plate) and also on a US truck on this forum but can't find it now. After checking aftermarket replacements online, all I can find are the OEM replacement lenses with orange on the side and frosted white on the front. Or, an all-white (frosted) lens.

Just wondering if there's any place that sells the all-orange lenses? Or do I just buy some orange vinyl and "tint" my stock lights or buy some aftermarket all-white lights and tint them orange? The gaskets for my stock lenses are really disintegrating, so new gaskets would be nice too.

I think they are aftermarket, but not 100% sure they didn't come that way in another market somewhere. Try searching Ebay.

90 - 96 had orange corner lights.
85 - 90 had all clear I think.

Opinions?

Try ebay.com.au and search for ford courier or mazda bravo. You should be able to find a set

They are OEM, but not for the North American market.

Cool! Good idea to try the Australian eBay site. That seller in the link above will only ship to Australia, but I'm sure another seller in Australia would ship overseas. Or if they're OEM for the Australian market, I might even be able to find someone selling a decent used set. I was using the wrong search terms - now I know how to search for them.

I think the all-orange lenses look really good. From time to time I check the US eBay site, but don't recall seeing those. I knew there had to be a place to buy them, thanks!

Another option, if getting those lenses shipped over here is cost prohibitive, you could tint them amber yourself. You would do the same process I used to "candy" my tail lights to get RID of the amber portion. Using transparent paint, followed by regular automotive clear.

Here I used Testors model paint, transparent candy red, followed by automotive clear.

A set I did, before buffing

The ones on my truck, buffed.

The ones I did on my B, except these I added some black/clear mix to smoke them, and didn't bury them in clear or buff, I kinda liked the satin look.

I didn't see anything in Testors brand, but Tamiya has a transparent orange model paint.

Or you could maybe order a sample of HOK Kandy tangerine paint to do the job.

That looks good! I like how the Tahoe tail lights turned out. I'm a bit nervous to paint the lights, but there's an orange vinyl tint available too. I believe it's specifically for tinting tail lights, fog lights, etc. So I could order that and cover my stock lenses. Or get a set of clear/frosted aftermarket lenses and tint those so there wouldn't be any difference in the shade of orange (since part of the lens is white and part of it is already orange).

In any case, my gaskets have almost completely disintegrated. I should probably look at a new set of orange lights (or clear lights that I can tint orange) which will probably come with new gaskets.

I just painted my grilled and front bumper satin black. Looks awesome, and a set of new all-orange (or even frosted white) lenses would set it off nicely.

You can probably pick up a set for under $10 at a scrapyard to paint, if it doesn't turn out you still have a good unmolested pair to fall back on.
Heck- I'd send you my spare set for free but I just sold my Mazda and spare parts for a 3/4 ton.

As for the gaskets; I just applied a thin layer of silicone caulking on the edges of the lens, in the same way the stock gasket goes around. Works like a charm.
Hope this helps somehow
