Random b2600 question

I'm just trying to figure out if all the B2600 models were 4x4 or if only the b2600i were. Or even did they make them in 2 wheel drive and 4?

yes they come in 2wd as well..where you live would of made a diff in what model you got more of........i.e. i live in tn and we have more 2600i's then b2200/b2000..plus there are more 5 speeds then auto's

I have a 2wd b2600i cab plus. And redline on here had a 2wd b2600i single cab, but i believe the 4wd b2600i is the most common even though the b2600i is becoming very hard to find at all!

Yeah I have a 2wd 2600i cab plus auto. I dont know the percentages of production was but I never saw a 2600i when I lived in FL. I know finding parts is getting harder and harder.

I have a 91 b2600i 5spd ext cab myself

Im just wondering cause I'm searching for 4x4 fenders for my b2000. And when ever I search I search for b2000 4x4 fenders, and have no luck. Then realized its the 2600s that have them. So didn't know if 2600 and 2600i were just 4x4 or if one or the other or what. I was trying to find out so it'd help my searching. I found a site selling fenders for 2600. But they were 2wheel drive fenders. So that lead me to ask on here

Yeah 4wd only came with a 2.6 either carb'd or fi, but not all 2.6's are 4wd. You can find them in a 2wd. None of the 2.0/2.2's were 4wd.
