What about a quick camber change for lowered, or performance..............

I was thinking about this the other day.

My truck has the Shockwave air shocks on all 4 corners {which are like coilovers, but uses bellows}, and they are adjustable {just like air bags.}

So, if I lower the truck I change the camber, as well as if I raise the truck {over the initial alignment}.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a way to make a plate that the upper control arm bolt to, that would allow you to move the arm to pre-set points so that your camber would always be in the idea range.

See, you could set this up by first marking the camber on the plate at optimum alignment at ride height, then lowered with the psi of the shocks beside the marking, and then the same thing with the truck raised.

Idea's? Opinions?

I have also thought this concept, but have not come up with a simple solution.

Jay, I was thinking about a steel plate that you would bolt to the frame, then use your upper control arm bolts turned down, and bolted to the plate.

You would have to make a provision for the shock mounts, but I think it would be doable. Also, you would probable have to notch the plate for shock clearance as well when you raised the vehicle.
