Whats up guys im new to this site and i need some help trying to figure out why my 2600 wont lay out in the front its about an 1" to 1 1/4 to laying frame. Ive flipped the balljoints an done everything i can think of. I dont have drop spindles and im not sure if thats the reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How big are your rims?
What suspension are you running?
Do you know where your contact points are at the moment?
Plenty of clever people on here who drop their utes
Not me, but I'll get the ball rolling for em

My 2600i lays out without drop spindles...

Some pics of your setup would be nice. Im assuming u have removed your torsion bars?

have you modified your engine crossmember? it sits about 1" lower than the framerails. so it takes a different crossmember or z'ing the frame to get it to lay out. or the more popular but less safe, dragging it off. . .

yes torsions are removed I dk where my contact points r or what that is... Im running 17" eskies with 205/40 tires ill try to get some pics up here tom and its all stock otheR then flipped balljoints with 2500 bags factory cross member but it still sits about an inch off the ground I can push down on the front and it wants to go down further just dk y it wont

contact points = points of contact which are stopping you going lower.
bumpstops, tyre clearance, xmembers etc.
If you push down and it wants to go lower without hitting anything, then all that is left are the shocks?
(I might as well learn while I'm here too!)

Did you pie cut the upper control arm? Maybe your upper ball joint is binding. (I pie cut on my truck)

Did you have to pocket your frame to fit the 2500 bags since you didn't use drop spindles? (I did on my truck).

Are you running front shocks?

Did you trim the inside of LCA's so they don't bottom out on the frame mounts?

Sounds to me like your bags are bottoming out before it lays. Im on the same wheels with all factory front arms and spindles, just on juice and mine lays fine. I didn't even trim the lca for frame clearance.

kovz has 2 very good places to look. the upper ball joint binding and the lca hitting the frame.

the easiest thing to do is put the front wheels on some 4x4s or something where you can let the jack down and simulate laying out without removing the jack entirely, unbolt the upper balljoint and try to set the truck down. if it looks like it will lay out, you need to do what kovz said and pie cut the uca. theres a how to in the tech section. . but by doing that, you just take the uca out of the equation so its easy to see if the upper balljoint is binding up. i bet this is what it is

uppers are not pie cut and i can see a small place where the lowers r rubbing the frame. Should the ball joints be binding with such a small setup? Ill checkout the tech section to pie cut the arms and while im at it i can trim whats needed off the frame or a-arm?
