I'm adding ac and power steering to my 88. I purchaced a 87-93 Mazda B2200 power steering bracket with belt tensioner idler pulley from ebay. It also mounts the ac compressor on top. The vertical holes are spread too wide on the bracket. It looks like the top hole and the rear hole would line up but the bracket sits on the lower radiator hose tube at that point. Any idea why it's different and what to do about it?

please take pics.... it will help us figure out your problem. ive removed and installed about 3 or 4 of these brackets and can help if you show pictures of your install mishaps.... thanks

the lower radiator tube goes next to the motor and the bracket goes through it.thepulley is in front of the metal tube. as far as the holes i haven't got a clue.i just removed one from my brothers b2200, the right way didn't cut anything.as far as the holes there should be one near the motor mount an two rite above each other near the front lower part of the motor.

Thanks. I was trying to mount it above the coolant tube. Now I see where it goes. I'm glad I asked before I started modding the bracket.
