305 vs stock rear end

how well would the stock rear end hold up to a carb'd chevy 305? btw with an automatic tranny

I have a 350 in mine...
Gone through 2 2600i rears and 1 2200 rear in five years. About 30,000 miles total.
I've given up and going to a Chevy 10 bolt with an lsd.

i was thinking about getting a s10/ blazer or toyota 6 lug axle

im putting in a chevy lsd rear end from a 2002 chevy blazer..its 5 bolt but i am building my truck as a drift truck so it doesent bother me as i will be switching rims frequently. Its quite a simple build other than re doing brake lines as the old ones are usually toast and rusted. really excited on how its turning out.
