hey everyone, been a long while sense Ive been on here, I'm looking to buy a Weber carb. for my engine rebuild, (ill have pics up on my build thread soon) and I just want to make sure I'm getting the right one. I saw some with electric chokes and some with vacuum chokes.

I know to get the one that fits my truck, with the conversion plates... just didn't know if there was anything else I should look for, or if one thing is better then the other.....

I'm planning on have as few vacuum lines on truck as possible, so I'm assuming the electric choke is the one I want.... guess I'm just looking for some reassurance...

any advice is welcome thanks in advance

Redline Weber K675 kit for Mazda B2200, 32/36 DGEV (electric choke, plugs into rear of alternator using the stock wire). See instruction manual at

You'll likely need to buy a stronger throttle return spring, unless they've fixed that in the 6+ years I've had mine.

great, that was the one I was looking at! how do I know if they have added the stronger throttle return spring, or where can I buy one just in case.

I use Hillman #99U spring, from Ace Hardware. I snip the sealed loops at each end a tad so it can hook into the holes.

So, looking at that install guide....I just need a fuel line going in, and then the vacuum advance over to distributor, and its done?
