I had a set of after market led tail lights, they I've a 3 wire set up on the back; red, white and black. I need someone to tell me how to wire them up to my Mazda. If someone can tell me how to set them up with the factory Mazda would be great, I'm not using reverse. Me and a friend tried hooking them up but to get the brake light and the running lights to work with the blinker kept blowing fuses. So if anyone had used a 3 wire led setup please let me know what you did to get them to work!!! Thanks in advance.

You might need a trailer wiring converter... That would be my guess... Sounds like it would be the same idea if I decided I wanted my brake lights and turn signals out of my semi truck tails only like I used to have it...

That's what I was getting at on the "other" board, GM had shared brake and turn signal lights, most others had separate, why I asked that, and asked for a photo.

I had to wire one up on a Jeep Cherokee 1984 to utilize a horse trailer which used shared bulb. Since then, Mrs. Cusser has towed horse trailer with GM vehicles, so more straightforward.
